Balnaguard Glen offers a wide variety of wildlife and flora such as juniper woodlands, heather covered landscapes, beautiful butterflies, brown hares, mountain hares, kestrel, pine marten, red deer and red squirrels. Enjoy a short stroll or an exhilarating trek with spectacular views, wildflowers aplenty and birdwatching.

Wonderful juniper woodland on the slopes of the Perthshire hills, with spectacular views across the valley. The reserve is home to a variety of butterflies, with red squirrels and deer sightings also possible

Enter the reserve through a gate from the car-park. Walking up the edge of a field, you will come to a threshold sign and a stile. Follow waymarkers on a circular route to the top of the reserve.

Visit the reserve from May to August for native plants & butterflies. Anytime for woodland walks.
